The cartridge used in the Pitney Bowes 9900 is highly attractive for remanufacturers with its familiar Canon-type technology, dependable imaging performance, high profit potential, and extreme popularity in the corporate fax market.
The Pitney Bowes series (9910, 9920, 9930) and Panafax 550, 770, 880, and DF-1100 versions of this cartridge are identical except for differences in three gears; the drum drive gear, the mag roller drive gear and the agitator drive gear. Because of these gear differences, the cartridges are not interchangeable. However, all internal imaging components are identical including the drum*, toner, and blades.
Note: Because the drum drive gears are different the DRPB99 geared drum cannot be used for Panasonic UF-550/UF-770 (UG-3313) applications.
